Thought it was MSblaster but I always get badly truncated files whenever I run CHKDSK and got progressively worse to the extent that my new 40g harddisk was presumably written with garbage until it shows 32g. It overwrote my Bios and all attempts to install Windows 98 and Windows XP were thwarted.

I had gotten a new hard disk exchange, reinstalled Windows XP and Norton Antivirus 2003 and scanned it with no avail. Any idea what the heck this is?
