A very good reason to support PC PITSTOP. I wonder if Spybot will have to hide or remove the Gator function from its search/ignore list. They should have asked the judge to remove Gator from a computer. this would have clearly shown how Gator it is reputable, clear and above board software. Once again the court system has shot itself in the foot.

That's okay, if they don't like being called spyware, lets just call it MALWARE or CRAPWARE.
If they want to be considered legit, maybe they should offer a working removal tool or un-install option.
Do I hear class-action lawsuit for pain-and-suffering or lost data?

Fortunately, no matter what courts rule, clever PC users will always find a way of ridding their boxes of code they don't want. 8-)

That's the biggest bullshi* i ever read other than the one i read a couple weeks ago where the music pirates sued the RIAA. I don't think anyone in their right mind would want software sending out info about them to goons in suit and ties. I would know about gator, my free webpage has it and it pops up and attacks my visitors without even saying hi ?

Why am I not surprised? We, the end user, don't have rights. Companies, like Gator, or the telemarketers, have the muscle to continue torturing us against our will? 'Smatter with the idiots who rule against the comsumer in this way? And you all know the TV networks all time their commercial breaks at the same time, to thwart channel surfing. Whats next?
