Please someone help. My son's computer has been attacked by the Security System 2009 malware or whatever it is.
I have downloaded SuperAntiSpyware and it has said that it has removed the viruses but it's still there.
It keeps opening up illicit web sites and now when I try to run a scan the whole system shuts done.
Please someone how do I clean up my hard drive and get rid of this pest.
Any help would be much appreciated, I am not that advanced in dealing with this stuff.
Cheers
Rocco

if software does not help, you can always try to remove it manually http://www.spywarevoid.com/remove-s...

SuperAntiSpyware didn't remove all infections, probably there is still a Trojan virus on your computer. I recommend you to scan your computer with Spyware Doctor. Or you can remove Security system 2009 manually. Removal guide: http://www.2-spyware.com/remove-sys...

Very easy problem to fix.
Seems like nobody else can give you a straight and simple answer, so I will....
I have cleaned this and many other rouge Anti-virus programs out of computers for years.First things first...A bought program like Spyware Doctor has no better protection than a free program like Spybot S&D or Malwarebytes', both I recommend before anything else.
The Solution
Download Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware.
Download Spybot Search & Destroy.
My suggestion for a safe download would be with Download.cnet.comGo into 'Safe' Mode and run Malwarebytes', and follow what it requires you to do.
Next run Spybot S&D, and again follow what it asks.
This should get rid of Security System 2009.
If it dosen't, maybe ComboFix to clean-up your registry......
