I have read some of the threads on this subject and I have the same problem, pretty much. I have hijackthis and can run it for scan and log if you require (I presume you will:-P) Basically, I have the security alert message popup every 10 mins at least and popups in browsers appear when i open browsers and my homepage will not change back to google like i used to have it. Instead it remains to be an antivirus homepage and i try to change it but it remains stubborn. Any help from you guys would be awesome, you do really well from what i can see:-D Thankyou

It really helps if you mention what exactly the security alert pop up is WinAntivirus, Ultimate Defender etc guessing doesn't produce acurate replys. Download RogueRemover from Here and run a scan If any advice helps, please post back as it might help others.
