Security Software doesn't need to cost a fortune. You can secure your system for free with these programs. I use these programs on all my computers and I have never had an attack or infecton.

These programs are the best I have ever come across. I spent days testing free security software. These programs hardly use any system resources, they are easy to use, and they are very reliable.

I would like to share this list with all of you.

AVG Free

Spyware Terminator

Windows Defender

Comodo Firewall Pro

With all of these programs installed, you now have a free, fully functional, security suite.

For a list of more free programs, you can visit my website.

I personally would use Avast free instead of AVG because of it's web guard which catches viruses on the fly while you surf. No muss, no fuss and no scheduled scans.
The other software listed isn't too bad, but I would use Ccleaner slim and remove spyware terminator. Have Ccleaner run on startup and your PC should stay quite clean.

I also have never been too much of a fan of Windows Defender, it has malfunctioned too many times for me. I would replace that with Spyware Blaster and Win Patrol.
Just personal preferences.

Some HELP in posting on Cnet plus free progs and instructions Glad to Help!
