There are services where you can surf the web "anonymously".

Free Services:
MisterPrivacy.com
IdZap.com
www.userbeam.de

Subscription services:
Anonymizer.com (although I have heard you can get an unlimited time trial version)

If you are trying to get software that will prevent your employer from knowing what you are doing. Please be advised that installing such a program would problably be in violation of the corporate computer policy, and you could be terminated for just installing it.

Yeah...you have to traverse their network before getting to the Web.

They will see either the activity or the tunnel that is masking it and, if paying attention, get suspicious.
