I have a freeware utility that scans your PC for applications or other items running on your PC and then reports what level of saftey they have ! Well I ran the utility and it came up with two items it listed as security threats and suggested I update one and remove the other ? The one it said I needed to update to make it safe by updating was Acobat Reader ver8.0 ,the one it suggested I remove claiming it contained trojans, worms etc was my ISP ,Netzero ? Now I've been a member of netzero high speed internet for at least ten years without any ill effects to two PC's I have .Is this application full of huey (Secunia) ? Any reply greatly appreciated !
Thanks Rock

Secunia PSI is a very good program, but like all security programs you will have false pos. If all the people coming here for help had run this program most of them would not have got infected. You don't buy a car a drive it ever day for a couple years and not change the oil. You have to treat you computer like your car do a little maintenace.
