I've been having a lot of trouble with search-space too. My homepage is always set at http://www.search-space.com/, and even if I change my homepage it will set back to search-space. I've been getting a lot of porn popups, and I can't open some links. Here's my hijackthis log.

I had probelms with search space also. I ran spybot and adaware6.0. I also ran cwshredder, and the problem is gone. Not being great with computers, all I can say is try cwshredder, that seemed to be the one.

good luck.

Heres how to get rid of it easy... Just have to know how to use regedit. If not its easy to use.

1. Goto Start then Run type "Regedit"
2. Goto HKEY_CURRENT_USER
3. Goto Software
4. Goto Microsoft
5. Goto Internet Explorer
6. Goto Main
This should bring up alot of registry entries.
7. Goto Start Page and double click it.
8. Enter in whatever webpage you like
9. I also changed "HOMEOldSp" to the same webpage.
I'm not an expert on regedit but I know this worked for me.
I also changed "Search Bar" "Search Page" "Defualt_Search_URL"

I'm not quite sure about the latter 3 but the first two will get that piece of s--- www.search-space.com webpage gone for good. God how I would love to have a box I could devote to DOS attacks 24/7 on there servers/ hosting service's server. Those b---tards really cuased my to want to kill.

I also had this problem. I tried Spybot and removing references to the site in the Windows Registry, but they just returned.

I followed Pnuttzz's advice by downloading and running CWShredder & PROBLEM SOLVED!

Thanks to Pnuttzz for a simple fix.
