For the fun of it I ran Spybot and sure enough it found it. I removed and sure enough as the other post states Spyware Blaster did report 1 unprotected item. I then re-enabled all protection within Spyware Blaster and after clearing Spybots backup ran Spybot again.
Once again, Spybot did pick it up so as others have stated this must be a false positive.
So if you run this and get the 1 unprotecte item in Spyware Blaster. Just re-enable all protection and the registry key comes back just fine.

Thanks for the info. For some unknown reason I could not re-enable the protection, the checkbox became cleared again all by itself. But running SpyBot recover and undo the removal of the affected registry key did the trick.
