When I do a search in IE/SlimBrowser, on Google, Yahoo, etc. I get the most revelant results quickly, then before I can click a link, it freezes for a minute and the results change to vaguely revelant, mosts being links to store sites or ads. When i go to the next page, same thing, it'll show good results, freeze, then the results have changed to more ad bs. I've run spybot, adaware, norton, hijack this, with no help. Something is altering my results after the search engine has provided them. Any ideas? Oh yes, this doesn't affect Firefox, but I use both broswers. Thanks

Are you sure the problem isn't Slimbrowser itself? If I were you I would get rid of it because the author's site lacks Forum group as well as Help & Support. i_XpUser

Thanks for the response. A little more info, I uninstalled Slimbrowser, but It does the same thing in IE as well. Slimbrowser is really just a different shell for IE, it still uses the IE core to function. I've used Slimbrowser for years, so I still think I've got some kind of hijacker running. It started 2 weeks ago when I went to a site that loaded several trojans/viruses. An assault of viruses got through. After running all the above mentioned programs several times, I finally got everything removed and my pc back to normal, except for this one thing.
