In IE and Firefox my search engine results, in
google or yahoo, when clicked send me to
random sites mostly shopping search engines.
I've run Malwarebytes, SpyBot,
SuperAntiSpyware, Avast... doesn't happen in
Chrome.
I saw someone else had a similar problem
and you solved. Thanks in advance for any
help you might offer.
David

I think you should use ComboFix.
http://www.forospyware.com/sUBs/Com...Also try Spyware Doctor. It is actually one of the best around. Comparison table: http://www.2-spyware.com/compare.php

Ignys...
I'm downloading Spyware Doctor... since I wrote I tried SuperAntiSpyware, which didn't solve it.The link you posted for ComboFix wasn't "right clickable" and instead got me to a forospyware.com discussion site in Spanish. Any other options for combofix?
Thanks,
David

It seems "combofix" has been withdrawn from the web by its creator, who warns folks not to use it until further notice. I tried "StopZilla" with no results. I'm up to four free programs and three I paid for and I'm still experiencing random redirects.
StopZilla looked at a scan they ran which showed nothing. They asked me to send a copy of HiJackthis log, but haven't heard back. When I use the analyze sites on the web nothing is picked up in my hijackthis log...???
Frustrating... still open to suggestions!
thanx...
DAvid
