Alright, I need help, this thing is driving me crazy...I had McAfee and now I'm using Nod32 and neither of them pick up this search engine redirect. Everytime I search from most search engines, ie: Google, yahoo, when I click the results it redirects me to another site instead of the site I want. Also I had downloaded google chrome but now it won't open any pages.

Help me out please ASAP.

Download MBAM, and SuperAntiSpyware...you will probably have to download them on a different computer, save them to a USB drive...then install them to your desktop and run the tools...

Run MBAM exactly as directed from the website...you may not be able to update it...but run it anyway...

Then boot into safe mode with networking and see if you can update it and run it again...

If you can update and run it, the reboot and run SuperAntiSpyware...see where that puts you...

If that does not do it, you might be looking at a reformat and reinstalling Windows...

good luck

I have had this same problem, down to the same issue with google Chrome. By the way, if for the time being you need to search, it seems not to have affected Goodsearch.com.

On closer investigation, it may be posing as the google toolbar

I read somewhere last week, that the Google Chrome was not as secure as IE6 is...
Which is not very good...

Might be a good idea to not use Chrome...
