Please follow the instructions and we will help you get cleaned up :)

1.) Download and install HijackThis

2.) Once installed, open HijackThis by clicking Start > Program Files > HijackThis and click the button labeled "Do a system scan only".

3.) Once the scan is complete, the scan button will read "Save log". You may save the log file to your PC. Once you select where you would like to save the file, (your going to post it for us) it will open in your system's default text editor. Typically this application is Notepad. Please copy and paste the entire log. Please do nothing else for the time being in HijackThis. thank you

7 scvhost.exe is ok but 4 iexplore looks suspicious if you don't run several Internet Explorer instances.
To start with, use this program to look what folders the processes are loaded from. svchost.exe should be from c:\Windows\System32 and iexplore should be from C:\Program Files\Internet Explorer\ If not then you have a malware and need to check your system with antivirus program.

The above post says that SCVHOST.EXE is okay, THIS IS WRONG. the file SCVHOST.EXE is a virus. Not alot of information is available on this file as it looks like its brand new.

scvhost.exe is a virus.

Svchost.exe the legitimate programme of which you can have many instances running.

Scvhost.exe has been around for a along time, so long that nearly all anti-virus applications have got it well beaten.

I suspect you are not running and AV application in which case I suggest you install AVG free.

I would also upgrade to SP3 while you are at it but get rid of any viruses first..
