Comment:

I usually scan every file I download with Norton Antivirus by right-clicking the file and selecting "Scan with Norton Antivirus".

I just recently had some trojan horse/adware trouble on my computer, and now when I right-click on a file "Scan with Norton Antivirus" is shaded and I can't click it.

I can still scan the files by opening up Norton and selecting the specific files that way, but I'd prefer to use the right-click method.

Any ideas how I can fix this?

It sounds like a virus or spyware program disabled that feature. It may still be active on your system. Do a full scan on norton, you may have to reinstall norton to get it back.
