I've seen many adds about sandbox software, like sandboxie (I think it was). I were just wondering how good these programs actually work in stopping viruses and spyware, and if they are in them self asfe?
sandbox programs like sandboxie and the new zoneAlarm ForceField do help keep viruses, phishing, spyware, etc off your computer. They act like a stunt double for your browser or computer, so everything is done virutally and not to your actual computer, so viruses, spyware, etc are not installed. ForceField has a free beta right now, if you want to try it out! Hope you enjoy using sandboxes.
