Running out of ideas.

Specs: Windows XP
Okay so. heres whats up im running windows xp home edition with service pack 3. Microsoft, hotmail msn big websites that can offer software to help rid my system of worms and trojans wont load. at all. they say done and its just a blank white screen. ive reset all my settings clean my registry scanned everything with an updated norton updated spyware doctor and updated malware bytes, now thats rid me of at least 100 trojans. yet the pages still wont load i cant download anything unless its thru a torrent. could a trojan be infecting my computer thru another on the network any help at all would be greatly appreciated. oh also windows update doesnt install the update when i shut down the computer it just sits there on the login screen with a cursor not loading anything. thanks again. ttyl.

I'm sure other software offers it, but AVG has a back-door trojan removal device on their site. It could be a network connected computer, but try the trojan removal at AVG and see if that helps at all. If you're having a problem you might mention it to the other individuals on your network and see if anyone else is having a problem as it's no use to clean your PC if all of your co-workers are having the same problem.

nope. no one else on the network is having any problems. ugh this is so frustrating
