rundll32.exe error

well I went to http://www.pandasoftware.com/activescan/ and removed several viruses from my computer that way. Although now I seem to be getting error messages in all types of programs. The following message is given when anything from the control panel is tried to start:
"Windows cannot find the file 'runddll32.exe'. Make sure you typed the name correctly, and then try again."
this is about the same for most of the other programs I try to run such as MSN messenger or even msconfig, then it just says it can't find those files. About the only thing I've been able to do is get online and use Internet Explorer. I'm using Windows XP, and was going to try to replace the rundll32.exe file with the one stated up above, but the site doesn't seem to be responding at all itself. Help is greatly appreciated for anything conserning this problem...
