I recently hooked up a wireless router that my roommate gave me, so that he could share my internet as well. My question is in regards with my computer's privacy and security since we now share the internet together. For example, would he be to trace the password i use for online banking?

Extremely doubtful, unless his classes are in hacking!

Use "Spybot Search & Destroy" and "AdAware" regularly to keep yourself clean of Spyware.

Be certain to "log off" from your banks website after each use.
