On this site, Computing.Net, when I create a desktop shortcut to a particular page by using the right-click context menu, it sometimes works. At other times, however, from the same page Computing.Net page I get a shortcut to a site that is on my IE restricted sites list.
For instance one link is: http://www.computing.net/windowsxp/wwwboard/forum/48502.html
But at other times going through the same procedure on the same page produces:
http://a.as-us.falkag.net/dat/dlv/aslframe.html?dat=112892&xl=160&yl=600&wrd=&prf=section=windowsxp&rdm=3258296When I try to open this latter link, I am taken to a restricted site and, thus, a blank web page.
This phenomemon has occurred on multiple Computing.Net pages. Does anyone know what is going on?
