Make and model number of your computer would be most helpful... The keys etc. to use to initiate a factory reset vary a little amongst the various makes...

B e very aware... A factory reset/restore will erase "everything" on the drive in the process and restore it all to as delivered. Which means "all" your" personal files etc. (stuff you wouldn't wish to lose) will also be deleted... S if there is "anything" you'd like to preserve.. copy if first to external media (typically dvd and if possible an external hard drive); and check the copies are truly accessible on at least one working system.

Then when you reset to factory status all those precious files are safe elsewhere; and can easily be re-installed later...

Useful to have a regular habit of copying/duplicating all your personal stuff off the system - just in-case you have "any" problem(s) with the installation, and are in risk of losing "all your stuff"... They (your personal files etc.) will be safe elsewhere... Regularly update those copies too...
