repair\autoexec.nt and config.nt mi

Specs: Windows XP
Hi my name is Beth,
Recently i removed a trojan from my pc (win32/agent ODG) and after removal i discovered that my system restore was corrupt as well as c:\......\repair\autoexec.nt and config.nt were missing.. i assume these are important to have lol.. can someone advise me on this? it's a new one on me.

Before deleting a virus, you should disable System Restore, as the virus can be located in the Restore folder.

Disable System Restore, re-scan your computer, cleaning anything necessary. Reboot, then re-enable System Restore.
