how do i remove write protection from my usb if does not have a switch and Im unable to save or delet files from my flash disc

I've had some luck with the following:

Open up a command prompt. Type "diskpart" and press enter. At the "DISKPART >" prompt, type "list volume". This will show you a list of your drives and a corresponding number. Assuming your flash drive is listed as "5", type "select volume 5". Then type "attributes volume clear readonly" and press enter.

That will remove the "readonly" setting from the flash drive's volume. Hopefully it helps.

Is the PC a work computer? If you got THIS error message when you try to copy or write to USB drive, it is because your employer have configured USB Disks to be Read-Only on machines running XP SP2. Do not try to circumvent it or else you will be joining the growing crowds of joblessness.
