Hi, my friend's browser has been hijacked by thesearchmall.com. How can I remove it from his computer when the browser only goes to searchmall.com? thank you, Ian34

Download hijackthis, then go to www.hijackthis.de and click on english. For the searchmall, I would think that Spybot would get rid of this, but maybe I'm wrong. Couldn't find it on google. Try Ad-Aware, hijackthis, and Spybot. That MIGHT get rid of it.

Searchmall looks like a Korean site. One of the progs mentioned by fordman should remove it.
Suggest installing BrowserHijackBlaster or SpywareGuard to alert you when a hijack is attempted.
Good luck
