Removing qttask.exe

Hi,
I have windows vista but when i start up my computer the layout changes to windows basic because there is a program that is not compatible. It is qttask.exe. If i uninstall quicktime will it also uninstall qttask.exe and allow normal layout?

Yes it should. Or you can go to Start - Run - type MSCONFIG - OK. Then go to Startup tab and uncheck qttask.exe.
