I have taken on the role as Adminstrator for my office. Unfortunately there is a restriction on my computer restricting me from downloading any .exe files. Some of these are needed for me to complete my job. Can someone tell me how to remove the restrictions? I am using Windows 98 and IE 6.0. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Do you mean you are the Network Adminstrator?
If so, you will need the Administrator Password to change the security settings/ permissions for your user account and/or pc.
You might want to post this in the Networking Forum with specifics about your network setup. There are many experts there who might be able to give you a step-by-step, assuming you are the network admin and do have the password(s).
