Comment: I had the trojan vundo virus discussed here, and successfully removed it early today, (thanks for the tips) but now I am unable to connect to my IP to get my email. I can go online & in IE, I just can't get my mail. The error message says my connection timed out. Can someone help?

Reply: (edit)Go to Tools Accounts, delete them and recreate them, this get your mail working again 9 out of ten times.

Reply: (edit)I have the same email problem after removing vundo too. Which method did you use? I used Spy Sweeper. Maybe it leaves something behind. Anyone have any ideas?

I am also noticing when I shut the computer down it says ending program ccApp, and it takes a loooonnnngggg time to shut down.

Reply: (edit)I still haven't been able to fix this. It's driving me crazy! I find it hard to believe we're the only two people having this problem after the removal of vundo, but it sure seems like it. I always thought ccApp was a part of Norton Internet Security, but I'm not sure.
