Open SpyBot and go into RECOVERY, place a checkmark next to c-dilla and use recover selected products. SpyBot will then restore c-dilla. Take care and all the best!

Thanks for the quick response. Spybot reported it as an unauthorized program for protecting copyrighted material from being copied, it also spies on your internet activity. I wasn't even warned, how do I get rid of it? Is there any other message boards? How can they do this?

Snoozer, I am not quite sure what is going on. This is the second c-dilla problem in about 12 hours. It is part of the copyright protection of WINDVD from INTERVIDEO for DVDs. It is strange that people are suddenly having it placed on their systems from using the internet, and SpyBot is detecting it. I will go, and suggest you do it too, to the SpyBot forum and see if they might know what is up with this. Did you get the computer running again?

For what it's worth, TurboTax 2002 is also installing C_Dilla without notice.

I have not loaded any new programs. The only possible thing I can imagine is c-dilla somehow got in when I used winamp to rip a song from a CD I rented from the library. As far as my PC not booting after spybot removed c-dilla, I'm guessing my CD rom is part of my setup process and I don't know how to change it. C-dilla from what I gathered since my last post has a drastic effect on your CD rom. Thanks for your help.
