When I use the interwebs, certain words will be highlighted as a link, and have ads, all directing to Information Getter. It's most likely a virus, and I have AdBlocker Pro, so I shouldn't have any ads. I don't understand how to get rid of this, and System Restore didn't help. Can somebody help me? It's making me kind of scared! I need this solved ASAP, even looking at my post, I have an 'ad' on the words!

That's a load of rubbish! HitmanPro is an excellent tool. And is used by many of us. If Derek hadn't of recommend it I would have.

LoginName, when HitmanPro is finished, down the bottom left hand corner, next to the Buy Now message, is Save Log.
Save that log to your desktop, then Copy & Paste the contents here please.
