re-installing Norton's 2003 problem

Tried to re-install Norton's systemworks 2003. now getting prompt for a disk #1.

not aware of such a disk. re-installed same before without this problem. Is there a workaround? thanks.

Go to Symantec support area and follow their instructions on how to remove "systemworks". When you see the reference for their removal tool "symclean" download and use it to resolve your problem. Take care and all the best!
