Comment: Registry edit "Slave" ? I have a friends HD that won't start because of viruses on his computer but I can see it as a "slave" on mine. I am going to run anti-virus software but some of the viruses may need a registry tweak or two. Can I get to the Regristry of the "slave"?

Reply: It could be anywhere in your registery.Id recommend running a good virus scanner and see if it picks it up.If not and your system doesnt seem to be working diffrent or any "weird" things happening then Its probably no big deal.Maybe try a spyware and adware search also. ~White Hat~

Reply: My question is, can I edit the registry as a "slave" drive. I have already found 20 viruses and counting. Some I may be able to remove w/ the software but sometimes you need to delete things from the registry.
