hi, i thank you before hand for reading this & hopefully being able to help me.
had a problem with a certain error "regedit.exe". i looked for something relevant in here & i found a story exactly like mine. this guy talking about getting it from limewire... so did i...
further on in one of the responses i found the that said go to "c:\WINDOWS\prefetch" (folder containing the virus & several other files) the exact virus name is "regedit.exe-1B606482.pf". so i erased the folder & everything in it, but the folder recreates if turning the computer on again or restarting it... Don't know how to get rid of it since i can't (don't know why either, & one time before i was able to) install an antivirus.
so, how can i get rid of it?? & another thing, there's also a setup error popping up, "I/O error 183"... is this related??
thank you for taking the time to either help me or not but for reading all this...

Remember to turn OFF the system restore before you scan to remove any virus.
it keeps comming back because it's being held in that area.
you can remove it all the time and will just keep on comming back until you disable this.
reboot a few times to make sure it is gone. then enable it again.
Is one thing many people forget to do while trying to remove viruses.
