Hi, I have this program which is slowing down the computer. I deleted it couple of times but it keeps coming back. I looked it up on the internet and I found out that i need to delete its registry file from REGEDIT. My questions is , If i delete a file from HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE and that key is NOT needed to run windows would i be doing any harm to my windows?

Firstly, XPUser is right. Which program is it?

Secondly, the Registry doesn't contain files, so you're better off not making any changes to it until you gain a better understanding of what it does, contains, and how it functions. :)
