Specs: Windows 7
This was in response to an OLD post, & kicked into it's own new question, since I just hit a system running Win 7 Home Premium and had to deal with removing PasswordBox, I feel this information may still be useful to others. I just had to deal with a client's computer and the removal of PasswordBox - not only did it sit on the internet browsers in add-on &/or extensions, it can also be found in your Windows Services - on the computer itself. You can go to Administrative Tools-Services> and look for it in the list, then disable it from there as well.
