Comment:
What is this Redwood-Broker on port 3001 using svchost.exe? What is it for and what does it do? Am I safe with this thing or is it a trojan? Thank you very much.
Think about getting a firewall, a must have this day and time.
Good luck

I'm using the free Sygate Personal Firewall. I've been getting many IRC backdoors even when I don't have mIRC or any other programs like that. Almost one every week. Thanks.

I'm using Grisoft's Free AVG Virus Scanner. Everything seems to be free on my computer. It's updated and i'm running the test right now. And I have passed it. It says stealthed for all of them. Looks like the Personal Firewall works. I just don't know what that Redwood Broker is for. Doesn't seem to be a trojan.
