Hey, all.
I've got problems with redirects and blocked sites. Seems like this virus (malware) is targeting sites for anti-malware software. It redirects when clicking on links in Yahoo.
I've run a few different software to get rid of it, Ad-aware, Spybot, avast! and Malwarebytes....none of it has worked and I'm going nuts.

Please, oh please, help me with this.

Thanks, I appreciate the help.

Try this first:
1) Change your DNS server to http://www.opendns.com
2) Scan your PC with Kaspersky/BitDefender online scanner

Yes, I changed my DNS server in IPv4 to OpenDNS and the redirects and blocked sites have stopped.

Now, what do I need to do to be able to use my ISPs DNS server again? Is there some DNS cache on my system which is screwed up?

Thanks,

S

Leave it to opendns for now. Can you post scan log/screen shots of detected from Response Number 1 -> Second part.
