CPU/Ram: Pentium 4, 256MB
Comment:

I read the other messages about this and have run spybot and adaware. When I looked at hijackthis I saw 5 entries specific to find4u which I removed. I'm hoping you can look at the updated log and tell me if there is anything else I should remove--I wasn't sure about winlogon.exe which I have seen mentioned before.
Thanks for your help!

Yes, this needs to go;
O4 - Global Startup: winlogon.exe

Something to try, that will not cause
any harm.
cwshredder.zip

cwshredder.exe
or winlogonkill.exe at this site;

Jenn,

One more thing you should do is find:

C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Start Menu\Programs\Startup\winlogon.exe

and delete, and reboot. That should help avert getting reinfected.

Also consider setting up Spyware Blaster
on your machine as this will help new ones from installing themselves. And update it frequently as they find new ones all the time.

Glad it worked Jenn, and follow up
with the advice from shep.

SpyBot has a host file, that puts bad
sites in the restricted sites zone.
That's the one I use, another updated
host file called IE-Spyad, can be found
below.

Hold down shift key, if you want link to
open in a small window.

Thank You Abnormal!! :) I tried various other ways to get rid of this nasty little bugger to no avail. Downloaded "CWSHREDDER" and like magic, it was gone :) So simple for mine...Thanks again...
