Hello all,
So this all started when I was cleaning out my hardrive removing unwanted games and programs. I came across a game that I could not uninstall and so I tried to delete the program folder. This did not work as well. So, I decided to delete every file within the program folder, and I am now left with one folder inside the program folder. Inside this folder there is another folder and so on. I can only go so far until a reach a certain point. When I click this folder (inside a folder, ect) my computer freezes. When I right click it or when I try to delet it, it also freezes. It also disables my Verizon Internet Security Suite's realtime scanning and I cannot turn it back on. I end up having to press the power button and reboot my laptop. I ran a full scan in safe mode and it found no problems, but I doubt this. My laptop behaves normally until I touch that folder. I am just begging to become worried that I may have a trojan stealing information.

-Thanks for your time!

Hi sparrott65 ,

My name is Amit, and I am from the Social Media and Community Team at Dell. Well, first of all i would suggest you to download an uninstaller and try to scan and delete all the registry keys and uninstall the program. If that does not work go ahead and scan your computer for any infections using your security software or you can also find the instruction at

FYI: There are third part uninstallers, Revo uninstaller, Absolute uninstaller, Iobit uninstaller that can be used to uninstall the programs. As it’s a third party software we do not guarantee resolution quality about the same.

Thanks and regards,
