I've recently downloaded alot of .rm movie files and played them with my Realone version2 player. Things were fine for a while until a few days back when i was trying to open a .rm file with Realone. An error message popped up saying: The following program performed an illegal operation and must be shut down. When i clicked details it read:

REALPLAY caused a stack fault in module PNVI3260.DLL at 0167:6125ce74.

Despite this problem with the movie files all other functions of Realone worked perfectly.
I've tried uninstall and reinstall Realone but it didn't help. I've also tried updating to the newest version of Realone but it didn't work either. I read on some website that this is caused by a buffer overflow exploitation but there seems to be no resolution for it.
if anyone have any insights or ideas or solutions for this kind of problem please feel free to e-mail me. Thank you!! Your help is much appreciated.

This prog is full of spyware ( or so I have read).
I had loads of trouble with my PC freezeing when I tried to use this prog.
I have uninstalled the version I had and now have the latsest version. When I installed the prog, I denied permission for it to access the Internet for updates and the usual things. There was still Realevent.exe trying to access the net, and to stop this I searched for this file and (in safe mode) renamed it Realevent.ex- and now everything works OK. No crashing etc. If it did not work I could rename it back again.
