Hiya everyone,

For the last two weeks i have noticed whenever i browse the internet this wierd radio station starts playing continously through my speakers.I'm pretty sure its not coming from the websites i visit or my windows media player and the only way i can stop it is to disconnect from the internet. Its always the same two guys talkng with an american accent but the songs they play are always kind of r&b in a foreign language.I am thinking it might be a virus as i heard the AFX type virus broadcasts music through the net, my computer is very slow lately and pop-ups are terrible although not one of my virus software picks anything up.I am running norton antivirus but i am also using spybot and adaware.
If anyone has had a similar experience i would be very grateful for your advice.:)

maimee xx

"my computer is very slow lately and pop-ups are terrible"

Well, those symptoms are indicative of malware, but the music? Not so much - - there are more mundane explanations. Speaker systems can, in some cases, act as receivers, and radio waves of all sorts saturate the modern world

You might consider an online scan, such as Panda - - although I'm not too sure how you can stop picking up stray signals. You might try moving the computer to a different part of the house, or look into noise filters

I'm not one of those who think Bill Gates is the devil. I simply suspect that if Microsoft ever met up with the devil, it wouldn't need an interpreter.
