Comment: The question I have is I ran ad-aware last night and came up with 4 diiferent cookies they call spyware. Anyway I deleted the cookies with ad-ware and ran it again real quick to see if everything was gone,it was, When I turned my computer on today I went to 3 websites and decided to run ad-aware again. All 4 of the same cookies were on my computer again. I've noticed this happen before but never said anything. My question is when ad-ware removes a bsd cookie is there still the cookie somewhere else on my computer, that I reinstall after I open my browser? IE6sp1 is browser. Any insight into this would be greatly appreciated. John.

Reply: You are picking them up when you visit the various websites you go to. You can set IE6 for a little more cookie privacy. The websites of PC Flank and Browsercheck will offer you scans and more security ideas. Remember that there is a tradeoff between the of ease of surfing vs privacy. There are firewalls like Zone Alarm pro, and other programs like Finjan's "Surfingguardpro", and "Ad-aware Plus" that also protect you in real time surfing. Take care and all the best!
