I have a question about adaware.
I've heard that while downloading an update from adaware, a certain port is opened. Does Zonealarm Pro in full stealth stop the port from being opened?

AdAware is a program to check for cookie's spywares into your system.
Of course if you just installed it in your computer, if you have a firewall already installed, it will ask you the question one time for ever if you agree this program to access to internet, you have to answer "yes" and bookmark it in order not to be asked again for it.
Whatever of course all programs accessing to to internet are using ports to connect, nothing wrong there.
Remember a firewall is not an anti-virus program, that you need one to work together with your firewall, and I suggest you buy a program as Norton or MCafee, in order to benefit the most recents virus updates (around 10 by weeks actually).
