Hi...This was always coming up on my firewall..loadqm..Qmgr...I started up my PC..when the programs were loading ...my sygate firewall didn't load..I tried loading it up through start-programs..but it wouldn't work. So, I deleted the program and install another firewall..but both times ..my Antivirus asked me..do you want clean or accept Qmgr..I cleaned twice because it said..a worm may have came through a backdoor may be on my PC..so now my firewall doesn't load up from the startup...Now I have to go to programs to start my firewall(different firewall now). Did I delete this file..Qmgr..or do I still have a virus on my PC? I did two scans..one from housecall, the other my antivirus..both reports -no viruses. I need..help..Thanks..D

I found this at Answers That Work

Loadqm - LoadQM.exe (Microsoft)

This task loads the MSN Queue Manager and is
installed when you install MSN Explorer or MSN Messenger.
LOADQM gobbles up system resources and appears on most end-users’ Task Lists who come to us complaining of low System & User Resources or very slow, "crawling", PCs.
In October 2002 this is still one of the worst behaved Microsoft programs !
Recommendation :
Disable immediately, or Delete using Startup
Manager

Thanks for the info.DW.I have read from this forum and others about Qgmr..loadqm.exe and understand that's not really needed and that it runs down your PC's resources. I believe a virus/worm came through my firewall and infected this file..loadgq.exe. I no longer have this file in my registry..due to my antivirus cleaning and deleting it but I'm wondering why my firewall doesn't startup when window's starts..I don't have the same firewall..I took the first one off, because it didn't load when windows loaded. Not sure what happen but something did....Does anyone know how ..or could help with my firewall?

Thanks
D
