Try this: right click on the folder and on the General tab give check to Hidden.
Than go to windows Explorer than Tools than Folder Option than View than at Hidden Files and Folders section, give a mark at Do Not Show Hidden Files and Folders. Than your sister wont see it. If you wanna see it than you should choose Show hidden folders and files.
But if your sister is a geek type, its better you get some app such as Magic Folder (try searching in www.download.com) Or AbiCoder (www.abisoft.net...its free)

If your sister is smart which I bet she is. My sister is 16 and pretty good. Well I don't recommend setting the folder to hidden because anyone could unhide it and do you really want hidden files on your computer because viruses and trojans ring a bell. However I would recommend BestCrypt of Scramdisk. BestCrypt is the better choose but Scramdisk can fit on a floppy and generally better. Or for that truely private information encrypt it with PGP. That will keep your sister, parents and a few governments out of it, haha.
