PSW.Agent.AGJJ Infection

Hello, I'm trying to get rid of a PSW.Agent.AGJJ Infection on my partners laptop. Avira never fixed it and so I downloaded the new AVG 2011 security centre hoping it would fix it. No luck, I just get sent round in an endless circle.

Upon booting up it detects 3 infections of System32/topbdor.dll in EXPLORER.EXE, SVCHOST.EXE and "System". Then asks if you want to remove them. If you do, it requires a restart and the process begins again from the top after restarting.

I read about ComboFix on these boards but I'm not sure what to do with it and if it's the best course of action.

Thanks for any help you can give.

I was mostly concerned by this line:

You should not run ComboFix unless you are specifically asked to by a helper.

Is there anything I need to watch out for?
