I am finding that on every re-boot my proxy server settings keep getting enabled even though I do not require a proxy server.

I can't remember the the exact IP address but it is port 7212.

I have tried Ad-Aware several times, Virus scan, & scanned through startup files & MSConfig, can't find what is causing it.

Can anyone offer some help please?

What operating system (OS) are you running? What browser? What type of connection do you have (to the Internet)?

My first thought is to search the registry for some hard coded proxy settings. I don't know if they'd be there or not.
