I need a program that will ask a password whe some tries to open a folder. I don't want one that hides the folder or changes the name of the files, or any thing else. Just need one that asks for a password when you double click to open the folder.

Can't you just convert the drive to NTFS and use the XP in built security?

ABI CODER from www.abisoft.net is also very good and FREE and has strong encryption and the receipient does NOT need to have the program to DECRYPT, just the PUBLIC KEY.

Nice password feature to encrypt local contents to HD.

All of those hide or compress/encrpt the folder. I want a program that will allow my folders to have the same properties as a regular folder and not require me to run a program every time i want to lock/unlock it.
