Hi, i have this really annoying problem. Whenever i click on a link to download somehting, it redirects me to this site: http://searchpage.cc/1526/. tHis mean, i cannot download anything off the net because i will always get redirected to this site. Any suggestions??. i've already tried ad-aware and it has found nothing. Please, i really need some help on this.

Do a virus scan with one or more free online scanners. Download winpatrol from winpatrol.com - you'll be amazed at what it gets rid of.

echelon4 That is the newest CoolWebSearch hijack/trojan...first try Cwshredder from here: http://209.133.47.200/~merijn/files/CWShredder.exe Run that tool from safe mode/offline. Reboot when done... If still not fixed then further action is needed. Instructions here: http://www.spywareinfo.com/~merijn/index.html Look at the March/24 info...follow closely. You will likely need to do the downloads from another computer...they will fit on floppy. Once cleaned up...visit windows update and install all criticals including sp1 for windows and IE.
