My computer is infected with the trojan horse ISTsvc.exe. In order to get rid of this virus I downloaden spybot and ran the scan. Then I pushed the 'fix the problems' button and than accidently clicked on the cancel button. Now all the detected files are in the restore area, where I only can restore and clean the selected files. I tried both but the selected files didn't return (neither in the retore area nor in the search and destroy area). When I run a scan now the program says: congratiolations your system is free of spywhare, but I know it isn't true. (I even uninstalled and reinstalled Spybot, but that didn't word either.)
Does anybody know how I can get the files from the restore area into the search and destroy area so that I can fix the problems?????
Or do you have another solution to remove the trojan horse ISTsvc.exe without using spybot??
Please help me!! I'm desperate. Thank you very much.

This info may help. Can't hurt.
System Restore is where a lot of baddies hide out.
READ COMPLETELY
To get to System Restore, right click my computer, properties, system restore, check the box to turn S.R. off. This WILL ERASE all stored settings and give you access to those areas.
If that sounds scary, try this first. Click Start, Programs, Accessories, System Tools,

System Restore, and select Restore to an Earlier Date. This is a reversable procedure and you may pick several dates to go back to. Go back to xxx and scan your system like before to see if it's clear of baddies. If this does work, (and it may), and you get rid of the nasty, then you can turn it off which will erase the area with the nasty leaving you with what you see. Then turn it back on. ( feel free to try several dates )
If none of the dates work, you have nothing to lose by getting back to where you just started today, turning restore off and scanning from here. ( This is most likely scenario ).

ISTsvc is an Adult Search Engine with a toolbar that attaches to IE. You can go to Intergrated Search Technologies website and they have a removal service that will remove ISTsvc programming (it appears to anyway)..
Try
http://www.xxxtoolbar.com/remove.html
to get rid of this ISTsvc problem
