problem with shut down probably a virus

Microsoft Windows 7 home premium

Specs: Windows 7
A few days ago, I realized that when I wanted to shut down the PC it would say that there is a program (maybe a virus) that says: groupmanager.e this program is preventing Windows from shutting down. How can I get rid of it?
I ran Norton and found nothing.

Norton and AVG both fail to find it apparently.

It's a good idea to run any scan in safe mode, where possible, to reduce the risk of the virus skipping by under the radar. I think this one is a Trojan Horse.

I would recommend downloading Malwarebytes and running that to see if it picks up the threat.

I downloaded malwarebytes and now it's gone. It was a trojan. Thanks!
