Thanks Iceblue,
I did as recommended by you, i have downloaded the latest updates from microsoft. But still the CPU fan is constantly running even if i am simply browsing the net, and still when i chesk teh PC Cillin in my task bar it tells me that the latest attack is of Net BIOS type, what is this? Is this something serious?
Guys I appreciate your help and please keep it up. I dont know my system is not as new now there is a delay in typing, it takes about 2-3 min to come on screen, sometimes teh keys stop responding.
Can you suggest something else.
Thank you for ur help. I am again sending you teh hijackthis log

The netbois exploit should get nailed if it is still unpatched on your system.Fan/CPU
You can check out the ultimate troubleshooter at Answers that Work; as it may be purely a background task problem. See what may be conflicting/troublesome.Most overheating probs are conflicts/hardware related. I have seen a few thinkpad setups running hot, but am in no way proficient in this area. Check with a post in the Windows XP forum or the General Hardware forum.
